What is click-through rate prediction?
Click-through rate prediction (also called CTR prediction): Estimating the probability that a user will click a given item in a given context, typically with a binary classifier trained on logs. Its output is used to rank ads and content, so well-calibrated probabilities matter.

A model predicts 0.034 for a banner shown to a user on mobile in the evening.
