What is bootstrap?
Bootstrap: A resampling method that builds many new datasets by drawing observations from the original sample with replacement, recomputing the statistic each time. The spread of those recomputed values approximates the statistic's uncertainty.
Bootstrap: an example
Resample 500 order values 2,000 times with replacement, compute each median, and use the middle 95 percent of those medians as an interval.
