What is causal graph?
Causal graph (also called Directed acyclic graph): A diagram where nodes are variables and arrows point from causes to effects, with no cycles. It makes assumptions explicit and shows which variables to adjust for to estimate a causal effect.
Causal graph: an example
Draw arrows Income -> Loan approval and Income -> Repayment to show that income is a confounder of approval and repayment.
