What is DELETE?
DELETE: The statement that removes rows matching a WHERE condition; without one it removes all rows. It is logged row by row, so it can be rolled back and fires triggers, unlike TRUNCATE.
DELETE: an example
DELETE FROM sessions WHERE expires_at < NOW(); clears expired login sessions.
