What is DML?
DML (also called Data manipulation language): Data manipulation language: the SQL statements that read and change the data itself, mainly SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE. They run inside transactions and can be rolled back. These statements can be undone with a rollback.
DML: an example
UPDATE and DELETE statements are DML, while CREATE INDEX is DDL.
