What is systematic sampling?
Systematic sampling: A design that picks every k-th item from an ordered list after a random starting point. It is simple to carry out but can be misleading if the list has a repeating pattern matching k.
Systematic sampling: an example
From a list of 10,000 customers, start at a random position between 1 and 20 and take every 20th one.
