What is numPy integer overflow?
NumPy integer overflow: An error that occurs when an integer calculation produces a value too large for its fixed-size type, so the result wraps around. NumPy integers have fixed widths and usually do not raise a warning, unlike Python's unlimited integers, so wrong answers can pass silently.
NumPy integer overflow: an example
np.array([250], dtype=np.uint8) + 10 gives 4, not 260, because an 8-bit unsigned integer holds only 0 to 255.
