What is CI pipeline?
CI pipeline (also called Build pipeline): An automated, ordered series of jobs defined in a configuration file, such as install, lint, test, build and publish, that runs whenever code changes. Each stage must pass before the next runs, and results appear on the pull request.
CI pipeline: an example
A YAML file defines four stages; a failed unit test in stage two stops the pipeline and marks the pull request red.
