What is AWS CloudFormation?
AWS CloudFormation (also called CloudFormation): Amazon Web Services' native infrastructure-as-code service. Templates written in YAML or JSON describe resources in a stack, and the service creates, updates and deletes them together, rolling back automatically if an update fails.
AWS CloudFormation: an example
A template creates a VPC, subnets and a database in one stack, and deleting the stack removes them all.
