What is AWS Lambda?
AWS Lambda: Amazon Web Services' serverless function service. It runs code in response to events such as an HTTP call or file upload, scales automatically and bills by execution time and memory, with limits on duration and package size.
AWS Lambda: an example
A Lambda function is triggered when a CSV lands in S3 and writes a cleaned copy to another bucket.
