What is cross product?
Cross product: An operation on two 3-D vectors that returns a third vector perpendicular to both, whose length equals the area of the parallelogram they form. It is used in geometry and graphics but is defined only in three (and seven) dimensions.
Cross product: an example
[1, 0, 0] x [0, 1, 0] = [0, 0, 1].
