What is object detection?
Object detection: Finding every object of interest in an image and giving each a class label and a bounding box. Unlike classification, it says both what is present and where, and it handles several objects at once.
Object detection: an example
A traffic camera model outputs 'car' at box (120, 80, 300, 220) with confidence 0.91 and 'motorcycle' at another box.

Where you learn it
Object detection is part of the AI Engineering Program, which teaches it with notes, a hands-on lab and an exam. The first lesson is free.
