What is AI risk assessment?
AI risk assessment: A structured review that identifies what could go wrong with an AI system, such as bias, privacy leaks, misuse or errors, estimates how likely and how severe each risk is, and decides on mitigations. It is repeated as the system and its use change.
AI risk assessment: an example
Before adding an LLM assistant to a hospital app, a team lists risks like wrong medical advice and data leakage, rates them, and adds a doctor-review step.
