What is virtual environment?
Virtual environment (also called virtualenv, venv): An isolated folder holding its own Python interpreter link and installed packages for one project. It prevents version clashes between projects and keeps the system Python clean. Deleting the folder removes the environment without touching other projects.
Virtual environment: an example
python -m venv .venv creates one; after activating it, pip install pandas affects only this project.
