What is logging?
Logging (also called Application logs): Recording timestamped messages about what a program does, including errors, warnings and key events, so problems can be investigated afterwards. Structured logs in JSON are easier to search and analyse than free text.
Logging: an example
A service logs `{"level":"error","msg":"model timeout","request_id":"a91"}` whenever an inference call takes too long.
