What is wav2vec 2.0?
wav2vec 2.0: A self-supervised speech model that learns representations from unlabelled audio by masking parts of the latent features and predicting them contrastively. Fine-tuned on a small amount of transcribed data it reaches strong recognition accuracy, which helps low-resource languages.
wav2vec 2.0: an example
Pretrained on thousands of hours of untranscribed audio, then fine-tuned on 10 hours of labelled Odia speech.
