What is fastSpeech?
FastSpeech: A non-autoregressive TTS model that predicts all mel spectrogram frames in parallel, using a duration predictor to decide how long each phoneme lasts. It is faster and more robust than attention-based models that can skip or repeat words.
FastSpeech: an example
Because durations are predicted explicitly, FastSpeech does not repeat or drop words in long sentences.
