What is winsorization?
Winsorization (also called Clipping, Capping): Limiting extreme values by replacing those beyond chosen percentiles with the value at that percentile, for example capping at the 1st and 99th percentiles. It reduces outlier influence without discarding rows.
Winsorization: an example
Order values above the 99th percentile of Rs 45,000 are all set to Rs 45,000.
