What is RMSE (root mean squared error)?
Root mean squared error (also called RMSE): The square root of the mean squared error, which brings the error back into the same units as the target. It still weights large errors heavily. It is one of the most common regression metrics and reads as a typical size of the prediction error.
Root mean squared error: an example
With MSE 108.25 (in lakh squared), RMSE = sqrt(108.25), about 10.4 lakh.
