What is NRMSE (Normalised RMSE)?
Normalised RMSE (also called NRMSE, CV(RMSE)): The RMSE divided by a reference scale, commonly the mean or the range of the true values, so that errors can be compared across targets with different units or magnitudes. Which scale is used must always be stated, because the number changes with the choice.
Normalised RMSE: an example
An RMSE of 10.4 lakh on prices averaging 65 lakh gives a normalised RMSE of 10.4 / 65 = 0.16.
