What is Davies-Bouldin index?
Davies-Bouldin index: An internal clustering measure that needs no true labels: for each cluster it finds the worst ratio of the sum of two clusters' spreads to the distance between their centres, then averages. Lower values mean compact, well-separated clusters.
Davies-Bouldin index: an example
Comparing k = 3, 4 and 5 clusters on customer data, the choice with the lowest Davies-Bouldin index is preferred.
