What is trino?
Trino (also called Presto): A distributed SQL query engine that runs interactive queries across many data sources, such as lakes, databases and warehouses, without moving the data first. It is the basis for federated querying.
Trino: an example
One Trino query joins a table in a data lake with a table in a PostgreSQL database.
