What is time travel?
Time travel: The ability of a versioned table to be queried as it was at an earlier time or version, kept through snapshots or a log. It helps audit, reproduce results and recover from bad writes.
Time travel: an example
After a faulty job overwrote a table, an engineer queries the version from yesterday and restores it.
