What is publish-subscribe?
Publish-subscribe (also called Pub/Sub): A messaging pattern where senders publish messages to a topic without knowing who reads them, and every subscriber to that topic receives a copy. It decouples producers from consumers and allows new consumers to be added easily.
Publish-subscribe: an example
A payment event is published once, and the notification, ledger and fraud services each subscribe and receive it.
