What is time zone?
Time zone: A region that shares the same standard clock time, defined as an offset from UTC. Time zone handling is a common source of bugs when software mixes local and universal times.
Time zone: an example
A meeting at 10:00 in Bengaluru is at 04:30 UTC, so a server logging in UTC shows 04:30.
