What is perceptron?
Perceptron: The oldest learning algorithm for a linear classifier: it multiplies inputs by weights, adds a bias and outputs class +1 or -1, then nudges the weights whenever it makes a mistake. It converges only if the classes are separable by a straight line.
Perceptron: an example
On a mistake with input (2, 1) and label +1, add the input to the weights: w = w + 1 * (2, 1).
