What is centroid?
Centroid: The average position of a group of points, calculated by averaging each coordinate separately. In clustering it acts as the representative centre of a group, and algorithms such as k-means keep moving it as assignments change.
Centroid: an example
The centroid of points (1,2), (3,4), (5,6) is (3,4).
