What is data processor?
Data processor: An organisation that processes personal data on behalf of another and under its instructions, rather than for its own purposes. A cloud host or an AI API vendor handling a client's customer data is typically a processor, and must be bound by a data processing agreement.
Data processor: an example
A company that runs a client's customer-support chatbot and stores the chats only for that client is the client's data processor.
