What is MCP roots?
MCP roots: An MCP feature where the client tells a server which locations, such as project folders, it is allowed to work within. It gives the server a clear boundary about where to look and act.
MCP roots: an example
A code editor passes the root file:///home/dev/myapp so the server only reads that project.
