What is superclass?
Superclass (also called Parent class, Base class): The existing class that another class is built upon and inherits from. It holds the shared attributes and behaviour, also called a parent or base class, which its subclasses reuse or refine.
Superclass: an example
In class Dog(Animal), Animal is the superclass and supplies methods such as eat().
