What is prompt chaining?
Prompt chaining: Linking several prompts in sequence, where the output of one becomes part of the input to the next. Each step has a narrow job, which makes results easier to test and debug than one giant prompt. Frameworks such as LangChain popularised the pattern.
Prompt chaining: an example
Step 1 extracts claims from a news article, step 2 fact-checks each claim, step 3 writes a two-line verdict.
