What is SRL (semantic role labelling)?
Semantic role labelling (also called SRL): Identifying, for each predicate in a sentence, the roles played by other phrases, such as who did the action, what was affected, and when or where. It captures meaning that stays the same across different sentence forms.
Semantic role labelling: an example
In "Ravi sold the car to Meera", Ravi is the seller, the car is the thing sold and Meera is the recipient.
