What is model?
Model: The mathematical function, along with its learned numbers, that maps inputs to predictions. An algorithm produces it by fitting data. Once trained, it can be saved and used to predict on new inputs without seeing the training data again.
Model: an example
A fitted equation rent = 3,000 + 25 x area + 4,000 x bedrooms is a small model that estimates monthly rent from two features.
