What is learning curve?
Learning curve: A plot of a model's error or score against the amount of training data, or against training time. Comparing the training and validation curves shows whether more data would help or whether the model is too simple or too flexible.
Learning curve: an example
If validation error is still falling at 5,000 examples while training error is low, collecting more data is likely to help.
