What is diffusion model?
Diffusion model: A generative model that learns to create data by reversing a gradual noising process. Training teaches a network to remove a little noise from corrupted samples; generation starts from pure random noise and repeatedly cleans it up until a realistic image, audio clip or video appears. It underlies most modern image generators.
Diffusion model: an example
Starting from a 512 x 512 grid of random noise, a model runs 30 cleaning steps and ends with a picture of a Diwali rangoli that matches the text prompt.
