What is CLIP score?
CLIP score: A metric that measures how well a generated image matches its text prompt by taking the cosine similarity between CLIP embeddings of the image and the text. Higher values mean closer agreement, but it is only a proxy for human judgement.
CLIP score: an example
An image of 'a red bus' scoring 0.32 against that prompt but 0.18 against 'a blue car' shows the intended match.
