What is listwise deletion?
Listwise deletion (also called Complete case analysis): Removing every row that has any missing value before analysis. It is simple and safe when data are missing completely at random and few rows are lost, but can discard much data and introduce bias otherwise.
Listwise deletion: an example
Dropping the 40 of 10,000 customers with a blank age is fine; dropping 4,000 rows with some blank would waste much information.
