What is mean imputation?
Mean imputation: Replacing every missing value in a numeric column with that column's average from the training data. It is simple and keeps the mean unchanged, but shrinks variance and weakens correlations.
Mean imputation: an example
If the average monthly bill is Rs 800, every blank bill is filled with Rs 800.
