What is DAN (role-play jailbreak)?
Role-play jailbreak (also called DAN): A jailbreak that wraps a forbidden request in a fictional persona or story, such as an unrestricted assistant, so the model treats the harmful answer as part of the game. Well-known examples spread online under names like DAN, short for Do Anything Now.
