What is at-least-once delivery?
At-least-once delivery: A guarantee that every message is delivered one or more times, so nothing is lost but duplicates may occur after retries or lost acknowledgments. Consumers must therefore be written to tolerate repeated messages safely.
At-least-once delivery: an example
A broker resends a message because the acknowledgment was lost, so the consumer sees it twice and must ignore the second copy.
