What is OSI model?
OSI model: A seven-layer conceptual framework describing how network communication is divided into stages, from physical signals up to application data. Each layer has one job and talks to the layers next to it, which helps engineers reason about and troubleshoot networks.
OSI model: an example
Cable and Wi-Fi signals sit in the lowest layer, while a web application sits in the highest.
