What is paging?
Paging: A memory management method that splits memory into fixed-size blocks called pages, which the operating system can place anywhere in RAM or move to disk. It avoids the need for a program's memory to be one continuous block.
Paging: an example
With 4 KB pages, a 1 MB program occupies 256 pages that may be scattered across RAM.
