What is product rule?
Product rule: A differentiation rule for a product of two functions: the derivative of u(x) * v(x) is u'(x) * v(x) + u(x) * v'(x). Each factor is differentiated in turn while the other is held fixed.
Product rule: an example
d/dx of (x^2 * e^x) = 2x * e^x + x^2 * e^x = e^x * (2x + x^2).
