What is right of access?
Right of access (also called subject access request, data subject access request): The right of an individual to obtain confirmation that an organisation is processing their personal data and to receive a copy of it and related information. Products need a process to find all data held on a person, including in logs and AI systems.
Right of access: an example
A user emails a company asking for everything it holds on her, and the company must locate her records across databases and export them.
