What is non-parametric test?
Non-parametric test: A hypothesis test that makes few assumptions about the shape of the underlying distribution, often working with ranks rather than raw values. It suits skewed data, outliers and small samples.
Non-parametric test: an example
With heavily skewed Rs-per-order data, comparing groups by ranks is safer than comparing averages.
