What is dueling network?
Dueling network: A network design for value learning that splits into two streams: one estimating how good the situation is and one estimating how much better each action is than average. They are recombined into action values, which helps when many actions have similar worth.
Dueling network: an example
Q(s,a) = V(s) + A(s,a) - mean over a' of A(s,a').
