What is REPL?
REPL (also called interactive shell): The read-eval-print loop, an interactive prompt where you type Python code, see the result immediately and try ideas quickly. It is useful for testing small snippets and exploring libraries. Beginners use it to experiment, and it pairs well with the help() function for reading documentation.
REPL: an example
Typing 2 + 3 at the >>> prompt prints 5 straight away.
