What is debugging?
Debugging: The process of finding and fixing the cause of incorrect behaviour in a program. Techniques include reading the traceback, printing intermediate values, using a debugger such as pdb to step through code, and reducing the failing case.
Debugging: an example
A function returns 0 instead of 250; adding print(items) reveals an empty list, so the bug is in the code that fills it.
