What is data type?
Data type: A category that tells Python what kind of value an object is and which operations it supports. Common built-in types are int, float, str, bool, list, tuple, set and dict. Types decide, for example, whether + adds numbers or joins text.
Data type: an example
type(3.5) returns float, while type('hello') returns str, so 3.5 + 1 works but 'hello' + 1 raises an error.
