What is pyproject.toml?
pyproject.toml: The standard configuration file for Python projects, in TOML format. It declares the build system, project metadata and dependencies, and holds settings for tools like pytest and formatters. Modern packaging tools all read it, replacing older setup files.
pyproject.toml: an example
A [project] section with name = 'mytool' and dependencies = ['requests'] describes a package for building and installing.
